The Phoenix Suns will be in Miami, FL Wednesday night for their third consecutive road game. Phoenix comes into Wednesday night as the top team in the league following a 10 point road loss in Milwaukee that ended a two game win streak. Defensively Phoenix struggled as Milwaukee made 54% of their shots and 46.9% from beyond the arc to score 132 points in the game including 41 in the fourth quarter.
Offensively big man Deandre Ayton carried the Phoenix offense scoring a team high 30 points to go along with eight rebounds in 33 minutes on the floor. Cameron Payne added a second best 23 points and eight assists, while Jae Crowder knocked down 43 pointers to score 19 points.
The Miami Heat will play their third consecutive home game Wednesday night running hot as of late winners of four of the last five games played including three in a row following a blowout win over Houston. Miami beat the Houston Rockets 123-106 last game out after shooting 53.8% from the floor as a team.
Jimmy Butler led the way for the Miami starters with 21 points on seven of 11 shooting in 29 minutes from the floor. Big man Bam Adebayo added 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Tyler Herro led the way with 31 points in 31 minutes off the bench.
