Phoenix Suns at Denver Nuggets 6/13/21 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The Phoenix Suns will look to advance to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in more than a decade when they visit the Denver Nuggets on Sunday. The second-seeded Suns have won three straight games against the Nuggets by an average of 18.7 points and rank second in the postseason in defensive efficiency. On Friday, Phoenix shot 53 percent from the field during a 116-102 road victory against Denver.

All five Phoenix starters scored in double figures and were led by Devin Booker with 28 points. Veteran G Chris Paul contributed 27 points, eight assists, and six rebounds for the Suns.

The Denver Nuggets are playing without G Jamal Murray and have been outclassed by Phoenix so far in this best-of-seven series. In Game Three, Denver was outscored by ten points in the third quarter and trailed by as many as 20 points in the second half. The Nuggets missed 27 of their 41 three-point attempts and shot just 41 percent overall.

MVP Nikola Jokic led all scorers with 32 points to go along with 20 rebounds and ten assists. Michael Porter Jr. added 15 points and five rebounds in a losing effort for the Nuggets.

Denver G P.J. Dozier (strained right adductor) has not played in this series and is unlikely to suit up for this contest. These two teams rank in the bottom three this postseason in pace, so the under is my lean on the total. The stronger play is on Phoenix to sweep. Final Score Prediction, Phoenix Suns win 113-106.
