Philadelphia 76ers at Atlanta Hawks 6/14/21 - NBA Picks & Predictions

In the first game of a Monday night NBA on TNT playoff doubleheader, the Philadelphia 76ers will take on the Atlanta Hawks from State Farm Arena. In Game Three, Philadelphia outscored Atlanta by 15 points during the third quarter to pull away for a 127-111 road victory. The top-seeded 76ers assisted on 28 of their 46 made field goals and shot a sizzling 58 percent overall.

All-Star C Joel Embiid tallied a team-high 27 points to go along with nine rebounds and eight assists. Tobias Harris chipped in 22 points, eight rebounds, and five assists for the 76ers.

The Atlanta Hawks won 25 of their 36 home games during the regular season and are looking to even this best-of-seven series after stealing Game One on the road. During Saturday’s home loss, Atlanta missed 17 of their 23 three-point attempts and shot 48 percent overall. The fifth-seeded Hawks were outscored 66-58 in the paint and trailed by as many as 22 points in the second half.

Atlanta G Trae Young led all scorers with 28 points on 9-for-17 shooting and dished out eight assists. John Collins added 23 points and seven rebounds in a losing effort for the Hawks.

Atlanta F De’Andre Hunter underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus and will miss the rest of the postseason. Philadelphia’s bench was huge in Game Three and I look for there to be regression in that area, while I expect the Hawks to shoot much better. Take Atlanta to win and even this series at two games apiece. Final Score Prediction, Atlanta Hawks win 115-111.
