The Friday night NBA schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the New Orleans Pelicans and Indiana Pacers from Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

All-Star F Anthony Davis has asked to be traded from the Pelicans, who are six games out of playoff contention. Last time out, New Orleans scored 30-plus points in each quarter of a 131-122 home victory versus Oklahoma City. The Pelicans out rebounded the Thunder by a 56-48 margin and shot 54 percent from the field.

Julius Randle led New Orleans with 33 points on 11-for-21 shooting and grabbed 11 rebounds. Jrue Holiday contributed 32 points and seven assists for the Pelicans. The Indiana Pacers have lost leading scorer Victor Oladipo for the season with a knee injury and have managed to remain in third place in the Eastern Conference standings. In their last game, Indiana was outscored by 12 points during the fourth quarter of a 106-97 home loss versus Milwaukee. The Pacers were out rebounded by a 58-52 margin and shot just 42 percent from the field.

Bojan Bogdanovic led five Indiana players in double figures with 20 points on 7-for-14 shooting. Darren Collison added 14 points and seven assists in a losing effort for the Pacers.

Indiana F/C Myles Turner suffered a bruised left hip and is listed as questionable for this matchup. The Pacers rank second in defensive efficiency and they tend to play games that stay under the total at home. Take Indiana to pull away late for a win and cover at home.
