The Barclays Center will play host to a Wednesday night NBA clash between the New Orleans Pelicans and Brooklyn Nets.

The Pelicans have dropped 15 of their 19 road games and are four games out of playoff contention in the Western Conference. On Monday, New Orleans played without Anthony Davis during a 123-114 home victory versus Minnesota. The Pelicans nailed 14 of their 25 three-point attempts and shot 52 percent overall.

New Orleans F Julius Randle poured in a game high 33 points on 13-for-23 shooting and pulled down 11 rebounds. Jrue Holiday chipped in 26 points and eight assists for the Pelicans. The Brooklyn Nets have dropped consecutive games and are trying to reach the playoffs for the first time since the 2014-2015 season. On Saturday, Brooklyn was torched for 42 points during the second quarter of a 129-115 road loss against Milwaukee. The Nets turned the ball over 15 times and shot 48 percent from the field on the evening.

Shabazz Napier led all scorers with 32 points and seven assists in 33 minutes off the Brooklyn bench. Kenneth Faried added 21 points and ten rebounds in a losing effort for the Nets.
