The New Orleans Pelicans play the second half of back-to-back on Saturday when they visit the Memphis Grizzlies. The Pelicans host Minnesota on Friday before heading to Memphis. New Orleans snapped a three-game losing streak on Wednesday with a 125-120 win over the Chicago Bulls. Julius Randle led the Pelicans in the loss with 31 points. Anthony Davis was not traded and remains with the Pelicans.

Memphis lost on Thursday night 117-95 to the Oklahoma City Thunder in its most recent outing. Memphis was led in the loss by Jaren Jackson Jr. with 27 points, while Bruno Cabocilo scored 16 and Mike Conley 15. The Grizzlies traded away veteran center Marc Gasol to Toronto and sent JaMychal Green and Garrett Temple to the Clippers and Shelvin Mack to the Hawks. Anthony Davis is leading the Pelicans in scoring, rebounding and blocks with averages of 29.3 points, 13.3 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game. Jrue Holiday is leading the team in assists with an average of 8.0 per game. New Orleans is shooting 48.0% from the field and 35.1% from three-point territory.

Mike Conley leads the Grizzlies in scoring and assists with averages of 20.3 points and 6.4 assists per game. Kyle Anderson is the leading rebounder for the Grizzlies with an average of 5.8 per game. Memphis is shooting 45.2% from the field and 34.0% from three-point territory.

Memphis players are reeling following the trade of Marc Gasol and three other teammates and that will affect the way the Grizzlies play the next few games, as new players become accustomed to the system. Mike Conley, the rumor of several trades, remained with the Grizzlies as did Anthony Davis with New Orleans. Looks for the Pelicans to exploit the new faces on the Grizzlies and win big on Saturday.
