Pacers at Wizards 1/30/19 - NBA Picks & Predictions

In the first game of a Wednesday night on ESPN doubleheader, the Indiana Pacers will visit the Washington Wizards.

The Pacers have lost G Victor Oladipo (knee) for the season and are clinging to third place in the Eastern Conference standings. On Monday, Indiana was outscored by 18 points during the first quarter of a lopsided 132-100 home loss versus Golden State. The Pacers were dominated on the glass by a 61-43 margin and allowed the Warriors to shoot 54 percent from the field.

Myles Turner led five Indiana players in double figures with 16 points and six rebounds. Darren Collison added 13 points and eight rebounds in a losing effort for the Pacers. The Washington Wizards have los consecutive games and have fallen 3.5 games behind Charlotte for the final playoff spot in the East. Last night, Washington had their furious fourth quarter rally come up just shot during a 116-113 road loss at Cleveland. The Wizards outscored the Cavaliers by 16 points over the final 12 minutes and shot 48 percent overall.

Washington G Bradley Beal led all scorers with 31 points on 10-for-20 shooting and dished out seven assists. Trevor Ariza chipped in 13 points and five rebounds for the Wizards.

Indiana G/F is dealing with lower back soreness and has been ruled out of this contest. The Wizards rank 25th in the league in defensive efficiency and are playing on consecutive nights.
