Pacers at Magic 1/31/19 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The Amway Center will play host to a Thursday night NBA clash between the Indiana Pacers and Orlando Magic.

This will be the second of a back-to-back for the Pacers, who were outclassed from start to finish during last night’s 107-89 road loss against Washington. Indiana turned the ball over 15 times and shot 39 percent in defeat.

Thaddeus Young led six Indiana players in double figures with 13 points and seven rebounds. Domantas Sabonis added 10 points and eight rebounds in a losing effort for the Pacers. The Orlando Magic have lost four straight games and have fallen five games out of playoff contention in the East. On Tuesday, Orlando was outscored by 12 points over the final 12 minutes of a 126-117 home loss versus Oklahoma City. The Magic outrebounded the Thunder by a 58-52 margin and allowed them to shoot 54 percent from the field.

All five Orlando starters scored in double figures and were led by Nikola Vucevic with 27 points. Aaron Gordon added 16 points to go along with nine rebounds and seven assists.

Orlando G/F Jonathon Simmons (abdominal) is being listed as questionable for this matchup. These two teams rank in the bottom third of the league in tempo, so the under is worth a look. The stronger play is on Indiana to send Orlando to their fifth straight loss. Final Score Prediction, Indiana Pacers win and cover ATS 106-103.
