Pacers at Knicks 1/11/19 - NBA Picks & Predictions

In the first game of a Friday night NBA on ESPN doubleheader, the Indiana Pacers will visit Madison Square Garden to face the New York Knicks.

The Pacers are 13 games above .500 overall and three games behind Milwaukee for the best record in the Eastern Conference. On Wednesday, Indiana was outscored in each quarter of a lopsided 135-108 road loss at Boston. The Pacers allowed the Celtics to shoot 57 percent from the field.

Domantas Sabonis led five Indiana players in double figures with 20 points and seven rebounds. Tyreke Evans added 15 points and five assists in 22 minutes off the bench. The New York Knicks have dropped nine of their last ten games and are rebuilding under the leadership of first year head coach David Fizdale. Last time out, New York wrapped up a six-game losing streak with a 122-95 loss at defending champion Golden State. The Knicks turned the ball over 17 times and shot 40 percent from the field in defeat.

Mario Hezonja led six New York players in double figures with 19 points and six rebounds. Enes Kanter added 12 points and 16 rebounds in 25 minutes off the bench.

Indiana G Darren Collison (sore right leg) and New York C Enes Kanter (illness) are both being listed as questionable for this contest. The Knicks rank second worst in the league in defensive efficiency and the Pacers have lost their edge on that end of the floor. Take the over on Friday. Final Score Prediction, Indiana Pacers win high scoring over total game 118-110.
