The Wednesday night NBA playoff schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the Indiana Pacers and Boston Celtics from TD Garden. In the series opener, Indiana managed just eight points during the third quarter during an ugly 84-74 road loss against Boston. The Pacers missed 21 of their 27 three-point attempts and shot just 33 percent overall.

Cory Joseph tallied a team high 14 points on 5-for-9 shooting in 23 minutes off the Indiana bench. Domantas Sabonis added seven points and nine rebounds in a losing effort for the Pacers.
The Boston Celtics underachieved during the regular season, but still remain one of the favorites to represent the Eastern Conference in the NBA Finals. On Sunday, Boston rallied from a seven-point halftime deficit by outscoring Indiana by 18 points during the third quarter. The Celtics dominated the Pacers on the glass by a 68-50 margin and connected on 10-for-28 from long range.

Marcus Morris and Kyrie Irving scored 20 points apiece to lead five Boston players in double figures. Al Horford chipped in ten points and 11 rebounds for the Celtics.

Boston G Marcus Smart (oblique) is expected to miss at least the first two rounds of the postseason. These two teams rank in the top six in defensive efficiency, so the under is worth a look again. The stronger play is on Boston to win and cover at home. Final Score Prediction, Boston Celtics win and cover ATS 102-89.
