Orlando Magic at Oklahoma City Thunder 11/1/22 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The Paycom Center will play host to a Tuesday night NBA matchup between the Orlando Magic and the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Magic (1-6) are rebuilding around number one overall draft pick Paolo Banchero and have shown improvement on defense. On Sunday, Orlando was outscored by nine points during the second half of a 114-105 road loss against Dallas.

Rookie F Paolo Banchero led six Orlando players in double figures with 18 points (6-20 FG). This one the first time in Banchero’s young career that he failed to score 20 points. Bol Bol added 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Magic.

The Oklahoma City Thunder selected Chet Holmgren with the second overall draft pick and he was lost before training camp with a knee injury. The Thunder (3-3) started the season with three straight losses, but have played well as of late. On Saturday, Oklahoma City scored 18 points in overtime and shot 49 percent from the field during a 117-111 road victory against Dallas.

Oklahoma City G Shai Gilgeous-Alexander poured in a game-high 38 points (15-27 FG) to go along with nine assists and six rebounds. Lu Dort chipped in 16 points and six rebounds for the Thunder, who missed 20 of their 25 three-point attempts.
