The Wednesday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the Orlando Magic and the Detroit Pistons from Little Caesars Arena. The Magic (22-60) won four of their five preseason games and are rebuilding around number one overall draft pick Paolo Banchero. On Friday, Orlando outrebounded visiting Cleveland by a 51-35 margin during a 114-108 victory.

Rookie F Paolo Banchero matched a game-high with 17 points and five rebounds in 27 minutes of action. Mo Bamba added nine points, seven rebounds, and two blocks for the Magic.

The Detroit Pistons have bolstered their roster around 2021 number one overall draft pick Cade Cunningham and will look to improve an offense that ranked 28th in efficiency. On Thursday, Detroit closed out a winless preseason with a 126-111 home loss versus Memphis. The Pistons (23-59) trailed by 14 points after one quarter and turned the ball over 19 times in defeat.

Saddiq Bey led five Detroit players in double figures with 17 points (7-17 FG) and eight rebounds. Cade Cunningham added 15 points, six rebounds, and six assists for the Pistons.

Detroit F Marvin Bagley III suffered a sprained MCL and is expected to miss the next 3-4 weeks. The Pistons may also be without newly acquired Alec Burks and Nerlens Noel. Take Orlando to win on the road. Final Score Prediction, Orlando Magic win 110-107.
