The Minnesota Timberwolves have split their first 20 home games and are sitting in ninth place in the Western Conference standings. On Monday, Minnesota snapped a three-game losing streak with a 122-104 road victory against LA. The Timberwolves (17-20) assisted on 34 of their 49 made field goals and shot 53 percent overall.

Second year pro Anthony Edwards led all scorers with 28 points on an 11-for-17 shooting performance. Patrick Beverley chipped in 11 points and 12 assists for the Timberwolves.

Minnesota C Karl-Anthony Towns (health and safety protocols) did not play in Monday’s victory and his status for this game is uncertain.
