The Oklahoma City Thunder look to bounce back from a loss when visiting the defending NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday. Oklahoma City opened its NBA preseason with a 113-97 loss to the Charlotte Hornets. Rookie Josh Giddey was the leading scorer for Oklahoma in the loss with 18 points. Giddey was selected by Oklahoma sixth overall and on Sunday will celebrate his 19h birthday.

After one game of the preseason Giddey is the leading scorer for Oklahoma City with 18 points while Luguentz Dort and Aleksej Pokusevski have each scored 11. The leading rebounder for Oklahoma City is Giddey with seven, while the leaders in assists are Theo Maledon and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with four each. Oklahoma City Thunder shot 38.4% overall and 31.9% from 3-point territory in its loss to Charlotte.

Milwaukee looks to snap a two-game losing streak when hosting Oklahoma City on Sunday. The Bucks opened the preseason with an 87-77 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies and followed that with a 119-115 loss to the Brooklyn Nets. In the loss to Brooklyn, Jordan Nwora was the leading scorer for the Bucks with 30 points. However, several regulars did not play for Milwaukee.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, BrookLopez, Bobby Portis, Rodney Hood and Grayson Allen did not play due to varying injuries. As a team, Milwaukee shot 49.4% overall and 48.4% from 3-point territory. The second leading scorer in the loss to Brooklyn was Sandro Mamukelashvili with 20 points and Mamukelashvili also grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds.
