In the second game of a Tuesday night NBA on TNT doubleheader, the Denver Nuggets will invade Oracle Arena to battle the Golden State Warriors.

The Nuggets have won seven of their previous ten games and lead Houston by 2.5 games for second place in the West. On Sunday, Denver managed just 28 points during the second half of a 95-90 loss versus Washington. The Nuggets missed 29 of their 36 three-point attempts and shot just 38 percent overall.

All-Star C Nikola Jokic tallied a team high 23 points on 11-for-15 shooting and grabbed 14 rebounds. Paul Millsap added 13 points and 16 rebounds in a losing effort for the Nuggets. The Golden State Warriors have won 27 of their 38 home games and lead Denver by one full game for the top spot in the Western Conference standings. On Sunday, Golden State outscored visiting Charlotte in each quarter of a lopsided 137-90 victory. The Warriors dominated the Hornets on the glass by a 57-38 margin and shot a sizzling 64 percent from the field.

Golden State G Steph Curry led all scorers with 25 points on an 8-for-14 shooting performance. Klay Thompson knocked down 6-for-9 from long distance and finished with 24 points.

Denver G Jamal Murray tweaked his left ankle on Sunday and is being listed as probable for this matchup. The Nuggets hold a slight edge in defensive efficiency and rebounding. Take Denver to keep things close on Tuesday. Final Score Prediction, Golden State Warriors win but fall short ATS 112-110.
