Nuggets at Warriors 1/16/20 - NBA Picks & Predictions

In the second game of an NBA on TNT doubleheader, the Denver Nuggets will visit the Golden State Warriors. This will be the second of a back-to-back for Denver, who outscored Charlotte by 12 points during the second quarter of a 100-86 home victory last night. The Nuggets (28-12) assisted on 28 of their 38 field goals and shot 48 percent overall.

Michael Porter Jr. led a balanced Denver scoring attack with 19 points and eight rebounds in 28 minutes off the bench. Nikola Jokic chipped in 12 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists for the Nuggets.

The Golden State Warriors have experienced a difficult fall from the top and are currently in possession of the worst overall record in the league. On Tuesday, Golden State was outscored in each quarter of a 124-97 home loss versus Dallas. The Warriors (9-33) were dominated on the glass by a 62-44 margin and allowed the Mavericks to shoot 54 percent from the field.

Rookie Jordan Poole led Golden State with 17 points and five assists in 28 minutes off the bench. Glenn Robinson II added 13 points and seven rebounds for the Warriors.

Denver G Jamal Murray injured his ankle during last night’s victory and is unlikely to play in this contest. The Warriors have continued to play hard for head coach Steve Kerr and a spot on national television makes me think that they will rise to the occasion. Final Score Prediction, Golden State Warriors win in upset but grab the points just in case 110-107.
