In Thursday night NBA playoff action, the Denver Nuggets will invade the AT&T Center to face the San Antonio Spurs. The second-seeded Nuggets have won three of the last four games in this best-of-seven series and stand a game away from the Western Conference Semifinals. On Tuesday, Denver outscored San Antonio by 11 points in the third quarter to pull away for a 108-90 home victory. The Nuggets outrebounded the Spurs by a 49-42 margin and shot 50 percent overall.

Denver G Jamal Murray led all scorers with 23 points on 9-for-16 shooting and dished out seven assists. Nikola Jokic chipped in 16 points to go along with 11 rebounds and eight assists for the Nuggets. The San Antonio Spurs won 32 of their 41 home games during the regular season and need one more home victory to force a Game Seven in Denver. On Tuesday, San Antonio trailed by 11 points at halftime and never made a run in the second half. The Spurs failed to connect on 17 of their 24 three-point attempts and shot just 41 percent overall.

San Antonio F LaMarcus Aldridge tallied a team high 17 points on 7-for-13 from the field and pulled down ten rebounds. DeMar DeRozan added 17 points and four rebounds in a losing effort for the Spurs.

Both teams come into this huge matchup with no significant injuries to report. San Antonio was unable to get on track offensively in Game Five and will likely come out on fire early. That will be too much for an inexperienced Denver squad. Final Score Prediction, San Antonio Spurs win and cover ATS 111-100.
