The Monday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the Denver Nuggets and Detroit Pistons from Little Caesars Arena.

The Nuggets have won six straight games and are tied with Golden State for the top spot in the Western Conference. On Saturday, Denver made the plays down the stretch of a 107-106 road victory against Minnesota. The Nuggets connected on 13-for-33 from long distance and shot 48 percent overall.

Malik Beasley led five Denver players in double figures with 22 points on 9-for-14 from the field. Nikola Jokic contributed 13 points, 16 rebounds, and ten assists for the Nuggets.
The Detroit Pistons have lost six of their previous ten games and trail Miami by two games for the final playoff spot in the East. Last time out, Detroit surrendered a 25-point lead during a disappointing 111-101 home loss versus the Los Angeles Clippers. The Pistons scored 40 points in the first quarter and were outrebounded by a 62-47 margin.

Detroit G Reggie Jackson led all scorers with 29 points and dished out seven assists. Blake Griffin added 24 points to go along with 11 rebounds and six assists for the Pistons.

Denver G Jamal Murray (ankle) was unable to play on Saturday and is listed as day-to-day. The Nuggets rank third in offensive efficiency, while the Pistons rank fifth worst in that category.
