The Wednesday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the Denver Nuggets and Brooklyn Nets from Barclays Center.

The Nuggets have won eight of their previous ten games and trail Golden State by a half-game for the top spot in the Western Conference. On Monday, Denver was outscored by 15 points during the second quarter of a 129-103 road loss at Detroit. The Nuggets were out rebounded by ten and allowed the Pistons to shoot 55 percent from the field.

Trey Lyles led six Denver players in double figures with 20 points on 8-for-13 shooting. Monte Morris added 18 points and three assists in a losing effort for the Nuggets. The Brooklyn Nets have lost three straight games and are looking to remain a playoff hopeful in the Eastern Conference. On Monday, Brooklyn suffered through an ice-cold shooting night and fell versus Milwaukee by a 113-94 final score. The Nets missed 37 of their 42 three-point attempts and shot a woeful 32 percent overall.

All-Star G D’Angelo Russell led Brooklyn with 18 points on 7-for-20 shooting and dished out five assists. Shabazz Napier missed all ten of his long range attempts and added 15 points.

Brooklyn G/F Joe Harris (right hip soreness) did not play on Monday and is listed as questionable for this contest. These two teams rank in the middle of the pack in defensive efficiency and the Nets have been playing at an extremely fast tempo lately. Take the over. Final Score Prediction, Denver Nuggets win and cover ATS 119-114.
