American Airlines Arena will play host to a Tuesday night clash between the Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat. This will be the second of a back-to-back on the road for Denver, who fell behind by ten points at halftime of a 125-113 loss against Houston. The Nuggets outrebounded the Rockets by a 46-34 margin and missed 22 of their 29 long range attempts.
Nikola Jokic led five Denver players in double figures with 24 points and 13 rebounds. Monte Morris added 21 points and five assists in 24 minutes off the bench.
The Miami Heat have won seven of their last ten games and are currently in sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. On Sunday, Miami was outscored by 20 points during the third quarter of an ugly 106-82 road loss against Atlanta. The Heat were dominated on the glass by 15 and shot just 36 percent from the floor.
Derrick Jones Jr. tallied a team high 14 points and three steals in 29 minutes off the Miami bench. Justise Winslow added 13 points and five rebounds in a losing effort for the Heat.
