Last Updated: 01/26/2021 at 10:00 AM ET

In Tuesday night NBA action, the New York Knicks will travel to Vivint Arena to take on the Utah Jazz. The Knicks (8-10) have dropped consecutive games and rank first in the league in scoring defense (103.6 ppg) for first year head coach Tom Thubodeau. On Sunday, New York was torched for 37 points during the first quarter of a 116-113 road loss against Portland.

New York rookie G Immanuel Quickley tallied a team-high 31 points on 9-for-18 shooting in just 24 minutes off the bench. Julius Randle added 25 points and seven rebounds in a losing effort for the Knicks.

The Utah Jazz are riding an eight-game winning streak and have moved to within a half-game of the top spot in the Western Conference. On Saturday, Utah outscored Golden State by 21 points during the second quarter of a convincing 127-108 home victory. The Jazz (12-4) dominated the Warriors on the glass by a 69-41 margin and led by as many as 40 points.

Donovan Mitchell led six Utah players in double figures with 23 points to go along with seven rebounds and six assists. Rudy Gobert added 11 points and 14 rebounds for the Jazz.

New York G Reggie Bullock (neck) did not play in Sunday’s loss and is listed as questionable for this contest. These two teams rank in the top six in defensive efficiency, so the under is worth a look. The stronger play is on Utah to win and cover. Final Score Prediction, Utah Jazz win and cover ATS 111-96.
