New York Knicks at Charlotte Hornets 3/23/22 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The Wednesday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the New York Knicks and the Charlotte Hornets from the Spectrum Center. This will be the second of a back-to-back for New York, who was outscored by eight points during the fourth quarter of last night's 117-111 home loss versus Atlanta. The Knicks (30-42) missed 12 of 26 from the free-throw line and shot 49 percent from the field.

New York G/F R.J. Barrett tallied a team-high 30 points on 9-for-25 shooting and grabbed 13 rebounds. Alec Burks added 21 points and four assists in a losing effort for the Knicks.

The Charlotte Hornets are riding a five-game winning streak and trail Brooklyn by one full game for eighth place in the East. On Monday, Charlotte outscored New Orleans by nine points during the fourth quarter to rally for a 106-103 home victory. The Hornets (37-35) assisted on 34 of their 40 made field goals and shot 51 percent overall.

LaMelo Ball and Terry Rozier scored 17 points each to lead Charlotte on a combined 13-for-26 from the field. Miles Bridges chipped in 16 points and five assists for the Hornets.

New York F Julius Randle (sore right quad) did not play last night and his status for this contest is uncertain. The Hornets have been playing well at home and the Knicks have been a disaster all season long. Take Charlotte to cover. Final Score Prediction, Charlotte Hornets win 119-107.
