On Wednesday, Minnesota raced out to an 11-point lead after one quarter and cruised to a 124-106 home victory versus Houston. The Timberwolves held a 31-13 advantage in fast break points and shot 48 percent from the field.

Minnesota C Karl-Anthony Towns led all scorers with 30 points on 11-for-15 shooting and grabbed ten rebounds. Anthony Edwards contributed 29 points and six rebounds for the Timberwolves.

New Orleans F Zion Williamson is recovering from foot surgery and will be on a minutes restriction when he returns.
