Nets at Warriors 3/12/20 - NBA Picks & Predictions

There will be no fans in attendance on Thursday night, when the Brooklyn Nets travel to the Chase Center to face the Golden State Warriors. The Nets (30-34) parted ways with head coach Kenny Atkinson on Sunday and are currently in seventh place in the East. On Tuesday, Brooklyn made the plays down the stretch to score an impressive 104-102 road victory against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Brooklyn G Spencer Dinwiddie tallied a team-high 23 points on 7-for-17 shooting and dished out seven assists. Caris Levert chipped in 22 points and seven rebounds for the Nets.

The Golden State Warriors own the worst overall record in the league and became the first team to play in front of no fans due to the Coronavirus. On Tuesday, Golden State was outscored by 19 points during the second quarter of a 131-107 home loss versus Los Angeles. The Warriors (15-50) were outrebounded by the Clippers by a 47-35 margin and missed 27 of their 38 three-point attempts.

Dragan Bender led five Golden State players in double figures with 23 points and seven rebounds in 25 minutes off the bench. Andrew Wiggins chipped in 23 points on 8-for-16 from the field.

Golden State G Stephen Curry (illness) did not play on Tuesday, but is expected to suit up for this matchup. This will be interesting to see the effect of having no fans in attendance. My thought is that it will be like a scrimmage, with the over being the play. Final Score Prediction, Brooklyn Nets win 121-114.
