In Saturday night NBA action, the Brooklyn Nets will travel to Little Caesars Arena to face the Detroit Pistons. The Nets (18-25) are looking to snap a five-game losing streak and trail Orlando by two games for seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings. On Thursday, Brooklyn allowed the Los Angeles Lakers to shoot 50 percent from the field during a 128-113 home loss.

Kyrie Irving led five Brooklyn players in double figures with 20 points on 7-for-17 shooting. Caris Levert added 16 points and four rebounds in 23 minutes off the bench for the Nets.

The Detroit Pistons have dropped 14 of their 23 home games and trail Brooklyn by 2.5 games for the final playoff spot in the East. Last night, Detroit was outscored by 13 points over the final five minutes of a 125-112 home loss versus Memphis. The Pistons (17-29) were outrebounded by 12 and allowed the Grizzlies to shoot 54 percent from the field.

Veteran G Derrick Rose led six Detroit players in double figures with 22 points and eight assists. Christian Wood added 20 points and six rebounds in 28 minutes off the bench.

Brooklyn C DeAndre Jordan has missed the last three games with a dislocated finger and is questionable for Saturday.
