NBA ROY Odds 2022/2023

As the NBA season approaches a plethora of young stars are set to embark on their professional careers. The Pre Season Rookie of the Year odds have been released and the favorites have been revealed. One young star is the clear cut favorite to take home the award, while several of his peers are nipping at his heels.

Paolo Banchero

Paolo Banchero was the #1 overall pick in this years draft and it was clear to see why in the summer league. Paolo is the most well rounded and complete player in this years rookie class making him the odds on favorite to take home the award. Banchero has the ability to guard multiple spots and score from all 3 levels as he is the best rookie in the class.

Keegan Murray 

Murray fills the void with the second highest odds to win the Rookie of the year following the injury to Chet Holmgren. Murray made the jump to the #2 spot in the odds following a stellar summer league campaign. Murray showed flashes of being a very capable scorer at all levels to go along with a top tier jumper. If Banchero falters in any way and Murray can light it up he has the best shot to slip in and win the Rookie of the Year.

Jabari Smith Jr.

Jabari Smith Jr. was the odds on favorite to go #1 before things changed on draft night as he fell to #3. Smith Jr. could play with a huge chip on his shoulder this year making him worth a look to take the award. Jabari will step into an immediate roll in Houston with an NBA ready game and body. Depending on how the first few months of the year for the Rookie of the Year award could go to Houston.

Jaden Ivey 

Ivey is for sure the best long shot to take home the award as he has an NBA ready game on both sides of the ball. Ivey is a pure athlete that inserted himself into every game at Purdue. Playing in a system surrounded by other young stars Ivey hold an immense amount of value to take home the award.
