NBA Preseason - Thursday 10/6/22 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The NBA preseason continues Thursday with six games across the day. With several teams making their preseason debut and several other teams looking for their first win Thursday will be an exciting day of NBA action.

Milwaukee Bucks vs.  Atlanta Hawks 

The Milwaukee Bucks take on the Atlanta Hawks Thursday afternoon in Abu Dhabi for their second preseason game of the year. Milwaukee lost their first preseason game as their stars and starters saw limited action. Look for Milwaukee to play their team similar in game two of the preseason as they did in game one. The Atlanta Hawks will open their preseason Thursday afternoon as they look to prepare for the upcoming year. Atlanta will do enough in Abu Dhabi to pull off the win as Milwaukee will rest a lot of their main guys.

Miami Heat at Brooklyn Nets

These are two of the top tier teams in the Eastern Conference as each are expected to compete for the number one seed in the east. Both teams come into Thursday winless as neither team is playing their key guys many minutes. Brooklyn will do enough in front of their home fans Thursday night to pick up their first preseason win of the year against Miami.

Adelaide 36ers at Oklahoma City Thunder

Adelaide will get another taste of NBA action Thursday afternoon as they are in Oklahoma City to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder. Adelaide will again play well but will be overmatched against a real deal NBA team in this game. Oklahoma City is undefeated in the preseason and will continue that trend Thursday in front of their home fans. Look for Oklahoma City to do enough in this game to get by a good Adelaide team leading to their second win of the preseason.

Orlando Magic at San Antonio Spurs

These are 2 young upcoming teams in the NBA as each have yet to win a preseason game. Orlando will have the edge in this game as they will have the better lineup on the floor with the potential NBA rookie of the year. Orlando will play hard as several of their young guys will see heavy minutes that will overwhelm and beat the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday.

Maccabi at Portland Trailblazers

The Portland Trail Blazers have yet to win a game this preseason but will end that streak Thursday night. Portland will be able to overwhelm a good Maccabi team leading to their first preseason win. Portland will use a better and deeper roster Thursday night to get the home win.

Minnesota Timberwolves at Los Angeles Lakers

The preseason means a lot more to Minnesota as they are trying to figure out how to mesh their new roster. Minnesota will again play key guys longer in this game that will lead to the win. The Los Angeles Lakers are a good team, but will rest and limit key guys leading to their second loss this preseason.
