Netherlands vs Austria (Berlin, FS1)

The Netherlands play Austria in Berlin on Tuesday in one of the most tightly contested groups in the tournament, with three teams within one point of each other. The Netherlands opened with a 2-1 victory over Poland followed by a scoreless draw with France, while Austria opened with a 1-0 loss to France followed by a 3-1 victory over Poland. If the Netherlands win and France either draws or loses, the Netherlands will top the group. If both Netherlands and France win, the group will be won on goal difference. A win by Austria guarantees qualification but a draw means they will finish outside the top two but could be one of the best third-place teams.

France takes on Poland on Tuesday in the third and final match for both in group play. France opened with a 1-0 victory over Austria followed by a scoreless draw with the Netherlands. Poland opened with a 2-1 loss to the Netherlands followed by a 3-1 loss to Austria and has been eliminated. If Australia wins they are guaranteed a qualification spot and will win the group if France draws or loses. With a draw, Austria would not finish in the top two but would likely be one of the top third-place teams. A loss would mean Austria would finish third and three points might not be enough to go through. Austria will win this fixture and move through to the knockout stages.

Prediction: Austria 2-0

England vs Slovenia (Cologne, FOX)

England takes on Slovenia in the final match of Group C. England opened with a 1-0 victory over Serbia followed by a 1-1 draw with Denmark and sits at the top of the group with four points. Slovenia opened with a 1-1 draw with Denmark followed by a 1-1 draw with Serbia. With a victory England will win Group C, while a draw will push them through as well. England would finish third with a loss and Denmark win but would likely go through as a top third-place club. Slovenia will qualify with a win but a draw will only finish second if Denmark also draws. A loss for Slovenia will likely mean they are out as two points is not enough for a top third-place finisher.

Prediction: England wins 2-0

Denmark vs Serbia (Munich, FS1)

Denmark will play Serbia in Munich on Tuesday in the final match in Group C for both. Denmark is second in the group with two points after opening with a 1-1 draw against Slovenia followed by a 1-1 draw with England. A victory will guarantee Denmark's qualification. A Denmark victory and a Slovenia victory over England would put the two first and second with goal difference deciding the two places. A Denmark victory and an England victory would mean Denmark finished second. If Denmark wins and England draws, goal difference will determine the top spot. Denmark would finish second with a draw and a Serbia victory. Serbia would finish second with a victory and a win/draw by England.
