Houston Rockets -12.5

In their last 10 games, the Houston Rockets are 6-4 and 4-5-1 ATS while the Timberwolves are 3-7 and 4-6 ATS.  Both Westbrook and Harden are slated to play in this one for the Rockets which gives them firepower against a Timberwolves team that is playing without Karl-Anthony Towns.  In the last 10 meets between these two teams, the Rockets are 7-3 and 7-3 ATS.  To make matters worse for Minnesota, they are 0-16 in their last 16 games when playing against the Rockets in Houston.  Look for this one to be a blowout with the Rockets covering the large spread. 

Los Angeles Lakers -12

The Lakers will face the Nets on Tuesday with Los Angeles winning 9 of their last 10 games and going 8-2 ATS, while Brooklyn is 4-6 and 4-6 ATS in their last 10 games.  Both Anthony Davis and LeBron James are listed to play in this one and with Kyrie Irving not playing, the Nets will struggle scoring.  In the last meeting between these two teams, the Lakers easily covered the -5.5 spread, winning 128-113.  Los Angeles is an impressive 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games and with Brooklyn switching coaches and missing their star player, I look for the Lakers to cruise to a victory in this one and cover the spread.
