The NBA Skills Competition is one of those fun games that allow for some great interaction between rival players before the big game on Sunday. This year the Taco Bells Skill competition will be a timed event like in years past. The skills competition is more along the lines of a race down the court, in which the players dribble through an obstacle course, pass the ball, then run back down the court for a layup. Then the players have to race back down the court and knock down a 3 pointer to win the race.

Spencer Dinwiddie +350

Khris Middleton +41

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander +460

Jayson  Tatum +550

Pascal Siakam +550

Domatis Sabonia+850

Patrick Beverly +900

Bam Adebayo+1200

The battle here will be one of speed and shooting more than ball handling. Everyone knows that these players know how to play great with the ball and can pass. However, speed will be the mark in this and the getting the shot behind the arc. While Siakam is faster than most of the competitors in the battle here, the shot behind the arc is what closes it out and that pretty much rules out Adebayo. Look for Tatum to come out and have a repeat in the skills challenge. Skills Challenge Winner, Jayson Tatum wins.
