On Tuesday, the Washington Mystics look for their fourth straight victory when they visit the New York Liberty. Washington defeated the Dallas Wings Saturday night 91-85 to remain one game ahead of Connecticut atop the Eastern Conference. Elena Delle Donne led the Mystics with 29 points, while Emma Meesseman chipped in with 19 points, seven boards and seven assists.

New York lost its fourth straight on Friday after falling to the Connecticut Sun 94-84. The Liberty battled back from a 50-41 halftime deficit to take a 61-57 lead late in the third quarter, but the Sun responded with a run of 10-0 to take the lead at the end of three quarters and New York would never lead again. Marine Johannes led the Liberty with 21 points. 

Elena Della Donne is the leading scorer and rebounder for the Mystics with averages of 19.1 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. Kristi Toliver is the leader in assists with an average 6.0 per game and the second leading scorer with an average of 13.0 points per game. In all, five players are averaging double-figures in scoring for the Mystics.

Tina Charles is leading New York in scoring and rebounding with averages of 17.4 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. Kia Nurse is second in scoring with an average of 14.3 points per game. Brittany Boyd is the assists leader with an average of 4.6 per game. Three players are averaging double figures in scoring for the Liberty.

Washington has everything to play for and New York little more than pride. The Mystics need wins to remain in the top three in the playoff seeding.
