Mystics at Dream 9/4/18 - WNBA Picks & Predictions

On Tuesday, the Washington Mystics will visit the Atlanta Dream for the fifth and final game of the best of five WNBA Semifinals with the winner moving on to the WNBA Finals. Washington defeated Atlanta in Game 4 on Sunday 97-76. The Mystics were given a big boost by the return of start Elena Delle Donne who scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

Atlanta was outscored in the second half 53-41 by the Mystics. Four players on the Dream including Tiffany Hayes, Brittney Sykes, Renee Montgomery and Jessica Breland scored 12 points apiece in the loss. The Dream were outscored 22-7 to start the fourth to trail 90-67 and never recovered. After five games of the postseason, Elena Delle Donne leads the Mystics in scoring and rebounding averaging 23.3 points and 12.3 rebounds per game. Three other players, led by Ariel Atkins are scoring in double figures for the Mystics. Kristi Toliver leads the team in assists with an average of 5.4 per game. Washington scored an average of 84.6 points per game during the regular season.

After four games of the postseason, Tiffany Hayes leads the Dream in scoring with an average of 17.3 points per game. Alex Bentley is the second leading scorer with an average of 15.5 points per game. Jessica Breland leads in rebounding with an average of 10.5 per game. The Dream are scoring an average of 81.5 points per game.

Throw out the stats for this game. Elena Delle Donne returned and will lead the Mystics to the first WNBA Finals in franchise history.
