Last Updated: 03/10/2020 at 10:08 AM ET

The Toyota Center will play host to a Tuesday night NBA clash between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Houston Rockets. The Timberwolves (19-44) have dropped consecutive games and have been struggling to get stops on the defensive end of the floor. On Sunday, Minnesota was torched for 71 points during the first half of a 120-107 home loss versus New Orleans.

Malik Beasley led seven Minnesota players in double figures with 21 points and nine rebounds. D’Angelo Russell added 19 points, six rebounds, and five assists for the Timberwolves.

The Houston Rockets are looking to snap a four-game losing streak and it appears that their small-ball approach may not be working. On Sunday, Houston trailed by 25 points at halftime of a disappointing 126-106 home loss versus Orlando. The Rockets (39-24) turned the ball over 18 times and failed to connect on 21 of their 32 three-point attempts.

Houston G Russell Westbrook matched a game-high with 24 points on 9-for-19 shooting. James Harden added 23 points and seven rebounds in a losing effort for the Rockets.

Houston G Eric Gordon has missed the last two contests with right knee soreness and is listed as questionable for Tuesday. Both teams are struggling at the defensive end and the tempo will be fast. Take the over. Final Score Prediction, Houston Rockets win high scoring over game 133-121.
