FTX Arena will play host to a Thursday night NBA clash between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Miami Heat. Last season, the Bucks (46-26) led the league in scoring en route to their first championship since 1971. On Tuesday, Milwaukee connected on 17-for-45 from long distance en route to a 127-104 home victory versus Brooklyn.

All-Star F Giannis Antetokounmpo matched a game-high with 32 points to go along with 14 rebounds and seven assists. Khris Middleton contributed 20 points and nine rebounds for the Bucks

The Miami Heat experienced an NBA Finals hangover last season and were eliminated by Milwaukee in the first round of the playoffs. Jimmy Butler led the Heat (40-32) with 21.5 points to go along with 7.1 assists and 6.9 rebounds. Miami acquired six-time All-Star G Kyle Lowry in an offseason trade with Toronto.

On Friday, Miami outscored Boston by 15 points during the fourth quarter to pull away for a 121-100 home victory. G Tyler Herro led all scorers with 29 points on 10-for-15 shooting in just 23 minutes off the Heat bench.

Milwaukee G Jrue Holiday suffered a bruised heel in Tuesday’s victory and is listed as questionable for this matchup. The Bucks looked solid in their season opener, but going on the road against a rested Heat team will prove too much of a challenge. Take Miami to win at home. Final Score Prediction, Miami Heat win 115-109.
