Miami Heat vs Milwaukee Bucks 9/2/20 - NBA Picks & Predictions

In the first game of a Wednesday NBA on ESPN playoff doubleheader, the Miami Heat and the Milwaukee Bucks will square off from the Walt Disney World Resort. In Game One, Miami outscored Milwaukee by 14 points during the second half of a 115-104 victory. The Heat converted 25 of their 27 free throw attempts and outrebounded the Bucks by a 53-44 margin.

All-Star G Jimmy Butler dropped a career playoff high 40 points on a 13-for-20 shooting performance. Goran Dragic contributed 27 points and six rebounds for the Heat.

The Milwaukee Bucks won the most games during the regular season, but have shown plenty of vulnerability since the restart. On Monday, Milwaukee’s top-rated defense was shredded to the tune of a 42-24 disadvantage in points scored in the paint. The Bucks connected on 16-for-35 from the three-point line and shot 49 percent overall.

Milwaukee G Khris Middleton tallied a team-high 28 points on 12-for-24 shooting and grabbed six rebounds. Giannis Antetokounmpo added 18 points (4-12 FT), ten rebounds, and nine assists for the Bucks.

Milwaukee G Eric Bledsoe (hamstring) did not play in the series opener and is listed as questionable for this contest. The Bucks are going to have an extremely difficult time advancing to the NBA Finals and even beyond this series until Giannis improves his shooting. Look for Milwaukee to even things with a win and cover on Wednesday. Final Score Prediction, Milwaukee Bucks win and cover ATS 116-107.
