Miami Heat at Toronto Raptors 3/28/23 - NBA Picks & Predictions

In the first game of a Tuesday night NBA on TNT doubleheader, the Miami Heat will travel to Scotiabank Arena to face the Toronto Raptors. The Heat (40-35) are six games below .500 on the road and are tied with Brooklyn for sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. On Saturday, Miami was outscored by 21 points during the third quarter of a 129-100 home loss versus Brooklyn. 

Max Strus and Tyler Herro led Miami with 23 points apiece on a combined 18-for-30 from the field. Jimmy Butler added 18 points (6-13 FG) and five assists for the Heat. All-Star C Bam Adebayo scored 16 points on 8-for-14 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds.

The Toronto Raptors have won 25 of their first 39 home games and are currently tied with Atlanta for eighth place in the Eastern Conference standings. On Sunday, Toronto raced out to a 16-point lead after one quarter and never trailed during a 114-104 home victory versus Washington. The Raptors (37-38) outscored the Wizards 54-36 in the paint and shot 46 percent from the field. 

Toronto F O.G. Anunoby tallied a team-high 29 points on 11-for-21 shooting and pulled down eight boards. Fred VanVleet nailed 5-for-9 from long distance and finished with 28 points. All-Star F Pascal Siakam added 19 points (7-17 FG) and 11 rebounds for the Raptors.

Miami G Kyle Lowry continues to be bothered by left knee soreness and is listed as questionable for this game. The Heat have been one of the least profitable teams on the road, while the Raptors continue to get the job done at home. Take Toronto to win and cover.
