Last Updated: 05/05/2022 at 9:38 AM ET

In the first game of a Friday NBA on ESPN playoff doubleheader, the Miami Heat will invade the Wells Fargo Center to take on the Philadelphia 76ers. The top-seeded Heat (53-29) have won six of their first seven playoff games and five of those have come by double digits. In Game Two, Miami knocked down 14-for-29 from the three-point line and shot 51 percent overall during a 119-103 home victory.

Miami C Bam Adebayo tallied a team-high 23 points on 7-for-11 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds. All-Star G/F Jimmy Butler contributed 22 points and 12 assists for the Heat.

With All-Star C Joel Embiid sidelined, the Philadelphia 76ers have been overmatched through the first two games of this best-of-seven series. During Wednesday’s loss, Philadelphia was outscored in each quarter and outrebounded by a 44-34 margin. The fourth-seeded 76ers (51-31) missed 22 of their 30 three-point attempts and shot 45 percent overall.

Philadelphia G Tyrese Maxey led all scorers with 34 points on a 12-for-22 shooting performance. James Harden added 20 points and nine assists in a losing effort for the 76ers.

Philadelphia C Joel Embiid (eye) is progressing well and there is a growing possibility that he will play in this game. These two teams ranked in the bottom five of the league in tempo, so the under is worth a look. The stronger play is on the 76ers to win at home. Final Score Prediction, Philadelphia 76ers win 108-99.
