Miami Heat at Golden State Warriors 10/27/22 - NBA Picks & Predictions

In the second game of a Thursday NBA TV doubleheader, the Miami Heat will invade the Chase Center to battle the Golden State Warriors. The Heat (1-3) have made deep postseason runs in two of the last three seasons and have the talent to do it again. On Monday, Miami was outscored by 13 points during the fourth quarter of a 98-90 home loss versus Toronto. The Heat missed 26 of their 34 three-point attempts and shot just 35 percent overall.

All-Star G/F Jimmy Butler tallied a game-high 26 points on 8-for-15 shooting and grabbed eight rebounds. Tyler Herro added 22 points and 15 rebounds for the Heat, who were outscored 27-13 in fast break points.

The Golden State Warriors have won four of the previous eight NBA Championships and are the favorites to repeat this season. During that stretch the Warriors (2-2) have been an elite defensive squad, but through four games they are currently in the middle of the pack in defensive efficiency. On Tuesday, Golden State was torched for 72 points during the first half of a 134-105 road loss against Phoenix.

All-Star G Steph Curry led six Golden State players in double figures with 21 points to go along with eight rebounds and seven assists. Draymond Green added 14 points, eight rebounds, and five assists for the Warriors.

Miami G Victor Oladipo (knee) is not traveling with the team on their current road trip and will not play in this game. Both teams have not played to their potential on the defensive end of the floor and neither side inspires much confidence for a play. Take the over to cash. Final Score Prediction, Golden State Warriors win 119-112.
