Heat vs Nuggets Picks and Prediction – 6/13/2023

Game Five of the NBA Finals will take place on Monday night, when the Miami Heat travel to Ball Arena to take on the Denver Nuggets. The eighth-seeded Heat are making their seventh NBA Finals appearance since 2005 and rank sixth during the postseason in offensive efficiency. In Game Four, Miami was held under 100 points for the third time this series during a crushing 108-95 home loss. 

Jimmy Butler led six Miami players in double figures with 25 points (9-17 FG) to go along with seven rebounds and seven assists. All-Star C Bam Adebayo added 20 points (8-19 FG) and 11 rebounds for the Heat, who missed 17 of 25 three-point attempts.

The Denver Nuggets rank first during the playoffs in offensive efficiency and are looking for their first title in franchise history. On Friday, Denver led 55-51 at halftime and outscored Miami by nine points in the third quarter to take a commanding 3-1 series lead. The top-seeded Nuggets connected on 14-for-28 from long distance and shot 49 percent overall.

Denver F Aaron Gordon led all scorers with 27 points on 11-for-15 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds. All-Star C Nikola Jokic contributed 23 points (8-19 FG) and 12 rebounds for the Nuggets. Bruce Brown added 21 points on 8-for-11 from the field in 30 minutes off the bench.
