Miami Heat at Boston Celtics 5/23/22 - NBA Picks & Predictions

In Monday night NBA playoff action, the Miami Heat will battle the Boston Celtics in Game Four of the Eastern Conference Finals. On Saturday, Miami raced out to a 21-point lead after one quarter and held on late for a 109-103 road victory. The top-seeded Heat never trailed in the game and led by as many as 26 points to take a 2-1 series lead.

Miami C Bam Adebayo tallied a team-high 31 points on a 15-for-22 shooting performance and grabbed ten rebounds. Veteran F P.J. Tucker chipped in 17 points and seven rebounds for the Heat.

The Boston Celtics won 28 of their 41 home games during the regular season and rank third during the postseason in defensive efficiency. In Game Three, Boston committed 24 turnovers and were outscored 48-34 in the paint. The second-seeded Celtics outrebounded the Heat by a 44-34 margin and knocked down 12-for-32 from the three-point line.

Boston G Jaylen Brown led all scorers with 40 points on 14-for-20 from the field and pulled down nine boards. Al Horford added 20 points, 14 rebounds, and three blocks for the Celtics.

Miami G/F Jimmy Butler left Saturday’s victory with a knee injury and is listed as questionable for this contest. Boston F Jayson Tatum (10 points) was a no-show in Game Three and I expect him to bounce back in a big way. Take the Celtics to cover at home and even this series at two games apiece. Final Score Prediction, Boston Celtics win 110-98.
