Memphis Grizzlies at Minnesota Timberwolves 4/21/22 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The Memphis Grizzlies will be in Minneapolis, MN Thursday night for game 3 of their series against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Memphis responded with a blowout victory in game two following their blowout loss in game one to even the series at one game apiece. Offensively Memphis was much better in Game 2 shooting 47.8% from the floor, while making 11 3 pointers in the game.

Ja Morant shined in the Memphis offense pouring in 23 points and 10 assists to lead the way in only 30 minutes of action. Desmond Bane and Jaren Jackson Jr. chipped in 16 points each as the second leading scorers for the Memphis starters. Brandon Clarke, Xavier Tillman, and Zaire Williams All scored 13 points to lead a balanced scoring attack from the Memphis second unit.

The Minnesota Timberwolves limp back home Thursday night following a near 30 point game two loss. As a team Minnesota was terrible making only 39.5% of their shots in 28.3% from beyond the arc, while scoring less than 20 points in two different quarters.

Anthony Edwards led the way for the Minnesota offense with 20 points and six rebounds in 34 minutes on the floor, while big man Karl-Anthony Towns added 15 points and a team high 11 rebounds. DeAngelo Russell added 11 points for the Minnesota starters and Taurean Prince contributed 12 points in 17 minutes off the Minnesota bench.
