The Toyota Center will play host to a Sunday night NBA battle between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Houston Rockets. This will be the second of a back-to-back for Memphis, who outscored Orlando by 21 points during the second quarter of last night's 124-96 home victory. The Grizzlies (44-21) dominated the Magic on the glass by a 55-41 margin and shot 50 percent from the field.
All-Star G Ja Morant tallied a game-high 25 points on 9-for-17 shooting and dished out seven assists. Desmond Bane chipped in 24 points and six rebounds for the Grizzlies.
The Houston Rockets are in the midst of a 12-game losing streak and own the worst overall record in the league. On Friday, Houston was outscored by 12 points during the third quarter of a 116-101 road loss against Denver. The Rockets (15-48) missed 26 of their 36 three-point attempts and turned the ball over 15 times in defeat.
Christian Wood led five Houston players in double figures with 22 points and ten rebounds. Number two overall draft pick Jalen Green added 18 points and seven assists for the Rockets.
