Memphis Grizzlies at Golden State Warriors 5/9/22 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The Memphis Grizzlies visit the Golden State Warriors on Monday for Game 4 of their NBA Western Conference semifinals best-of-seven series. Memphis trails in the series 2-1 after being blown out of Game 3 by Golden State 142-112. Memphis shot only 43.5% overall and was outrebounded 38-29. However, the biggest loss may be Ja Morant, who scored 34 to lead the Grizzlies, but hurt his knee late in the game and his status is unknown.

Ja Morant is leading Memphis in scoring, rebounding and assists with averages of 26.8 points, 8.6 rebounds and 10.1 assists per game. Desmond Bane is the second leading scorer with an average of 19.4 points per game and Brandon Clarke is the third leading scorer with an average of 15.1 points per game. As a team, Memphis is scoring an average of 113.8 points per game.

Golden State looks to take a commanding 3-1 lead in the series with a victory on Monday. Golden State shot the lights out in their 30-point rout of Memphis on Saturday. The Warriors shot 63.1% overall and an impressive 53.1% from three-point territory. The leading scorer was Stephen Curry with 30 points while Jordan Poole scored 27 points and Klay Thompson added 21.  Golden State made 17 of 32 shots from three-point territory.

Stephen Curry is the leading scorer for Golden State with an average of 27.6 points per game, while Andrew Wiggins is the leading rebounder with an average of 7.3 rebounds per game and Draymond Green is the leader in assists with an average of 6.7 assists per game. Jordan Poole is the second leading scorer with an average of 22.3 points per game and Klay Thompson is close behind with an average of 20.0 points per game. Golden State is scoring an average of 115.4 points per game.

The OVER is a solid choice, as the two teams combined to score 254 points on Saturday easily surpassing the closing line over/under line by 28.5 points. However, the play here is Golden State. The Warriors are playing impressively evidenced by shooting over 63% in Game 3 and winning by 30 points. In addition, Memphis could be without its leading scorer Ja Morant, who injured his knee late in Game 3. Final Score Prediction, Golden State Warriors win and cover ATS 123-110.
