Memphis Grizzlies at Detroit Pistons 10/13/22 - NBA Picks & Predictions

NBA TV will feature a Thursday night preseason meeting between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Detroit Pistons from Little Caesars Arena. The Grizzlies (56-36) are fresh off a breakthrough season and pushed Golden State in the second round of the playoffs. On Tuesday Memphis was outscored by 14 points during the first period of a 109-105 road loss against Orlando.

Memphis G Desmond Bane poured in a game-high 33 points on an 11-for-18 shooting performance. All-Star G Ja Morant added 23 points and four assists for the Grizzlies.

The Detroit Pistons have built an improved roster around last year’s number one draft pick Cade Cunningham and will look to improve on a 23-59 mark. On Tuesday, Detroit was outscored by 19 points during the second half of a 115-99 home loss versus Oklahoma City.

Killian Hayes led all scorers with 20 points and seven assists in 27 minutes off the Detroit bench. Cade Cunningham added ten points and eight rebounds for the Pistons.
