The Memphis Grizzlies look for their fourth consecutive victory on Friday when visiting the Dallas Mavericks. The Grizzlies improved to 31-31 following a 118-79 rout of the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday. Josh Jackson was the leading scorer for Memphis with 19 points as the Grizzlies outscored the Nets in the second half of 66-34 to break open a close game at halftime.

Ja Morant is leaving Memphis in scoring and assists with averages of 17.6 points and 7.0 assists per game, while Jonas Valanciunas is the leading rebounder for Memphis with an average of 11.1 per game. Jaren Jackson Jr. is the second leading scorer with an average of 16.9 points per game.

Dallas looks for its second straight victory on Friday when hosting the Grizzlies. The Mavericks improved to 38-25 following a 127-123 overtime victory against the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday. Kristaps Porzingis led the Mavericks with 34 points but Luka Doncic posted another triple-double with 30 points, 17 boards and 10 assists. Dallas is in second place in the Southwest Division 2 ½ games behind Houston.

Luka Doncic leads Dallas in scoring, rebounding and assists with averages of 28.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game. Kristaps Porzingis is the second leading scorer with an average of 19.5 points per game. Dallas has four players averaging double figures in scoring.

While Dallas will win this game on its home court Friday, the Mavericks will find it difficult to cover the number. Dallas has failed to cover four the last six head-to-head against Memphis.
