In Tuesday night NBA action, the Dallas Mavericks will invade the Pepsi Center to take on the Denver Nuggets.
The Mavericks have dropped consecutive games and are led in scoring by rookie Luka Doncic at 18.2 ppg. On Sunday, Dallas had their 11-game home winning streak snapped during a 120-113 loss versus Sacramento. The Mavericks turned the ball over 14 times and shot 42 percent from the field.
Luka Doncic matched two Sacramento players with a game high 28 points and nine assists. DeAndre Jordan added eight points and 23 rebounds for the Mavericks.
The Denver Nuggets have won three straight games and are in possession of the best record in the Western Conference. On Sunday, Denver knocked off the team with the best record in the league during a 95-86 home victory versus Toronto. The Nuggets outscored the Raptors by 13 points over the final 12 minutes and limited them to 40 percent shooting overall.
Nikola Jokic led five Denver players in double figures with 26 points and nine rebounds. Jamal Murray chipped in 19 points and five rebounds for the Nuggets.
