The Wednesday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the Dallas Mavericks and Charlotte Hornets from the Spectrum Center.
The Mavericks have lost 16 of their first 18 road games and are just three games behind San Antonio for eighth place in the West. On Monday, Dallas trailed by 17 points at halftime of a 122-102 road loss against Oklahoma City. The Mavericks turned the ball over a season high 29 times and shot 42 percent in defeat.
Dallas F Harrison Barnes tallied a team high 25 points on 8-for-11 shooting and grabbed five rebounds. Rookie Luka Doncic added 17 points and six rebounds in a losing effort for the Mavericks.
The Charlotte Hornets have won 14 of their 21 home games so far this season and are currently in sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. On Monday, Charlotte raced out to a 13-point lead after one quarter and cruised to a 125-100 home victory versus Orlando. The Hornets shot 49 percent from the field and have defeated the Magic 13 straight times.
Charlotte G Kemba Walker led all scorers with 24 points and seven assists in just 27 minutes of action. Cody Zeller chipped in 14 points and six rebounds for the Hornets.
