Magic at Thunder 11/5/19 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The Orlando Magic will take to the road on Tuesday night, when they visit Chesapeake Energy Arena to face the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Magic have dropped four of their first six games and are looking to make the postseason for the second straight year. On Saturday, Orlando was unable to make the plays down the stretch of a 91-87 home loss versus Denver. 

All-Star C Nikola Vucevic led all scorers with 24 points on 10-for-16 from the field. Aaron Gordon added 21 points and nine rebounds in a losing effort for the Magic.

The Oklahoma City Thunder hit the reset button when they decided to let Paul George and Russell Westbrook go in the offseason. The Thunder have lost four of their first six games and rank 29th in the league in assists. On Sunday, Oklahoma City limited New Orleans to just 18 points over the final 12 minutes of a 114-105 home victory. 

Oklahoma City G Shai Gilgeous-Alexander tallied a game high 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Chris Paul chipped in 15 points and nine assists for the Thunder. 

Oklahoma City C Steven Adams (knee) went through a full practice on Monday and is expected to play in this contest. The Magic rank last in the league in offensive efficiency and the Thunder are the better rebounding team.
