Magic at Raptors 4/23/19 - NBA Picks & Predictions

The Tuesday night NBA playoff schedule will tip-off with Game Five between the Orlando Magic and Toronto Raptors from Scotiabank Arena. The Magic took the series opener, but have lost three straight games in this best-of-seven series. On Sunday, Orlando managed just 16 points during the second quarter of a 107-85 home loss. The Magic turned the ball over 17 times and missed 26 of their 33 three-point attempts.

Orlando F Aaron Gordon tallied a team high 25 points on 10-for-17 shooting and grabbed seven rebounds. Evan Fournier added 19 points and four rebounds in a losing effort for the Magic.

The Toronto Raptors won 32 of their 41 home games during the regular season and stand just one home victory away from a spot in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. In Game Four, Toronto built a 16-point halftime lead and was never seriously threatened after the break. The Raptors outrebounded the Magic by a 45-34 margin and shot 53 percent from the field.

Toronto F Kawhi Leonard poured in a game high 34 points on a 12-for-20 shooting performance. Norman Powell and Pascal Siakam chipped in 16 points apiece for the Raptors.

Toronto F OG Anunoby (appendectomy) is expected to be out until the Eastern Conference Finals. These two teams rank in the top ten in the league in defensive efficiency, so the under is worth a play. Take Orlando to put forth another solid effort on the road and cover the number. Final Score Prediction, Toronto Raptors 104-99.
