The Wednesday NBA schedule will tip-off with a matchup between the Orlando Magic and Detroit Pistons from Little Caesars Arena.
The Magic have won consecutive games and are currently a game behind Charlotte for the final playoff spot in the East. On Sunday, Orlando pulled away late to score a 116-109 home victory versus Houston. The Magic won the battle on the boards by a 52-47 margin and shot 48 percent from the field.
Nikola Vucevic and Aaron Gordon tallied 22 points each to lead Orlando in scoring. Evan Fournier chipped in 19 points and five rebounds for the Magic.
The Detroit Pistons have dropped eight of their last ten games and are falling out of playoff contention in the Eastern Conference. On Monday, Detroit was limited to just 35 points during the second half of a 100-94 road loss against Utah. The Pistons were dominated on the glass by a 70-47 margin and shot just 39 percent from the field.
Blake Griffin led five Detroit players in double figures with 19 points on a 7-for-17 shooting performance. Andre Drummond added 15 points and 13 rebounds in a losing effort for the Pistons.
